This is a picture of the Korting submarine engine taken from The Engineer magazine of August 1906. It is rated at 200bhp at 500rpm, maximum speed 650rpm. It is a 2-stroke with crankcase compression running on paraffin, and has electric heaters incorporated so it does not have to be started on petrol.
