173 Clapham Road Amid a cluster of Georgian survivals on the main road, a spacious early C19th house of stock brick with a modern "quasi-Doric" porch (English Heritage). Grade II listed. Originally this was one of a pair of semi-detached houses - the two-storey bay to the left is all that remains of its erstwhile partner. The house is currently occupied by a motor accessories company.
