Die Unas-Pyramide ist die kleinste Königspyramide des Alten Reichs und steht in Sakkara neben der Djoser-Pyramide. Unas war der letzte altägyptische König (Pharao) der 5. Dynastie und regierte etwa von 2380 bis 2350 v. Chr. Obwohl der oberirdische Teil der Pyramide kleiner als der aller seiner Vorgänger war, stellte die Pyramide einen wichtigen Meilenstein in der Entwicklung der ägyptischen Pyramiden dar. Als erster König ließ Unas die unterirdischen Pyramidenkammern mit rezitierenden Totentexten in Form von „Totensprüchen“ beschriften.
