Uprising ist ein Reggae-Album der jamaikanischen Reggaelegende Bob Marley und seiner Band. Es wurde im Jahre 1980 veröffentlicht. Weil Marley im folgenden Jahr starb, war Uprising das letzte Studioalbum zu seinen Lebzeiten. Dieses Album ist eines von Marleys religiösesten; in fast jedem Song ist sein Rastafariglauben zu erkennen.

Uprising erreichte in den "Billboard Black Album Charts" Platz 41, in den Popcharts Platz 45. Der Song Could You Be Loved erreichte Platz 6 in den "Club Play Singles Charts" und Platz 56 in den "Black Singles Charts".
