Die Linie R ist eine Linie der New York City Subway und nutzt die BMT Broadway Line, daher trägt sie die Linienfarbe gelb. Die Linie endet tägsüber an dem Endpunkt Brooklyn – Bay Ridge. Nachts wird die Linie teilweise nur verkürzt gefahren. Da sie auf der Stammstrecke unter dem Broadway verkehrt, wird auch als Broadway Local bezeichnet.
