Der Tsomgo-See (auch Tsongmo-See oder Changu-See) ist ein glazialer See im östlichen Himalaya in Ost-Sikkim (Indien).
Der Gebirgssee befindet sich 15 km östlich der Hauptstadt Gangtok auf einer Höhe von 3780 m.[1] Er besitzt eine Wasserfläche von 23,6 Hektar und einen Umfang von 2 km.[1] Der ovalförmige See ist knapp einen Kilometer lang und besitzt eine mittlere Tiefe von 15 m.[1] Der See liegt im Einzugsgebiet des Rangpo Chhu, einem linken Nebenfluss der Tista. Der Tsomgo-See ist von Gangtok über eine 40 km lange Straße erreichbar, die weiter zum Grenzpass Nathu La führt. Er gilt als „heiliger See“ und ist ein Touristenziel in Sikkim. Aufgrund der Nähe zur chinesischen Grenze sind spezielle Berechtigungen notwendig.

Holly Lake Located at an altitude of 12,00ft, this ethereal lake is one of the Sikkimese offerings that you cannot miss out at any cost! Locally called the ‘Changu Lake’, it is nestled amidst lofty peaks and enchanting glaciers. Translated into the local Bhutia language, it means the ‘source of the lakes’. Around 40km from the capital city of Sikkim, this oval shaped lake spreads around 1km and is 15m deep. While the winters freezes down this water reservoir, the spring makes it a colourful affair with many varieties of flowers. Also, a paradise for the bird-watchers, this Sikkim lake attracts a diverse range of migratory birds; the Brahmini Duck is one of the native species.
