Die Cambridge Modern History ist eine Geschichte der Neuzeit (ab dem 15. Jahrhundert) bei Cambridge University Press (CUP).

Anfangsseite des Cambridge Modern History Atlas 1912

Die erste Cambridge Modern History wurde noch von Lord Acton geplant und 1902 bis 1912 in 14 Bänden veröffentlicht einschließlich eines Atlas (2. Auflage des Atlas 1924). Die Herausgeber waren Stanley Mordaunt Leathes, Adolphus William Ward und George Walter Prothero. Behandelt wurde der Zeitraum 1450 bis 1910.

Die The New Cambridge Modern History erschien in 14 Bänden (inklusive Atlas) von 1957 bis 1979 und behandelte die Zeit von 1450 bis 1945. Sie erschien gleichzeitig bei CUP und Macmillan in New York.

Bei CUP folgten später die Cambridge Ancient History und die Cambridge Medieval History.
