Sogn og Fjordane (deutsch Sogn und Fjordane) war eine Provinz (Fylke) in Norwegen, die an die Provinzen Møre og Romsdal, Oppland, Buskerud und Hordaland grenzte.
Am 1. Januar 2019 belief sich die Bevölkerung auf 109.774 Einwohner (2,12 % der Gesamtbevölkerung Norwegens). Die Fläche betrug 18.619 km². Der Verwaltungssitz befand sich in Hermansverk (Kommune Leikanger).
Vor der Reform von 1919 hieß die Provinz Nordre Bergenhus amt (Nord-Bergenhus, nach der Festung Bergenhus).
Zum 1. Januar 2020 schloss sich Sogn og Fjordane (ohne die Kommune Hornindal) mit Hordaland zum neuen Fylke Vestland zusammen. Grundlage für das Zusammengehen war ein Beschluss des Storting vom 8. Juni 2017, der im Zuge einer Regionalreform eine Reduzierung auf elf Fylke vorsah.[1]

Coat of arms for Sogn og Fjordane county (fylke), Norway.The coat of arms were granted on 23 September 1983. The arms show the geographical layout of the county: three large fjords protruding into the land. The three fjords are the Nordfjord, Sunnfjord and Sognefjord. As nearly all villages and towns are situated on one of these fjords and the name of the county is based on the fjords.
