Uruguay nahm an den Olympischen Sommerspielen 1992 in Barcelona, Spanien, mit einer Delegation von 16 Sportlern (allesamt Männer) teil.
Die uruguayische Delegation stand unter dem Vorsitz von Julio C. Maglione. Chef de Mission war, wie bereits bei den Olympischen Spielen 1972 in München Ruben Orozco. Eduardo Rienzi fungierte als Arzt der Delegation, die ehemalige Schwimmerin Susana Saxlund wirkte als Delegationssekretärin. Zusätzlich zu den 16 teilnehmenden Athleten bildeten sechs weitere, am olympischen Pelota-Schaukampf beteiligte Sportler das uruguayische Team.[1]

Der Segler Ricardo Fabini trug die Flagge Uruguays während der Eröffnungsfeier.[2][3]
