Afghanistan nahm bei den XIV. Olympischen Sommerspielen 1948 in London zum zweiten Mal an Olympischen Spielen teil. Das Land war mit seiner Fußball- und seiner Hockeynationalmannschaft vertreten. Insgesamt traten 29 Athleten[1] zu den Wettkämpfen an.
