Bei den IV. Olympischen Spielen 1908 in London fand ein Wettbewerb im Jeu de Paume statt. Austragungsort war der Queen’s Club im Londoner Stadtteil West Kensington. Diese Sportart war ein einziges Mal olympisch; eine Freiluft-Variante namens Longue Paume war 1900 Demonstrationssportart gewesen. Real Tennis, wie Jeu de Paume in Großbritannien genannt wird, war 1928 nochmals Demonstrationssportart.
