Die OHL-Saison 1980/81 war die erste Spielzeit der Ontario Hockey League (OHL), die in diesem Jahr aus der Ontario Major Junior Hockey League hervorging. Die Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds gewannen als punktbestes Team der regulären Saison die Hamilton Spectator Trophy, unterlagen im Playoff-Finale allerdings den Kitchener Rangers, die sich somit ihren ersten J. Ross Robertson Cup sicherten.
