NGC 3861(A) ist eine Balken-Spiralgalaxie vom Hubble-Typ SBb im Sternbild Löwe an der Ekliptik. Sie ist schätzungsweise 225 Millionen Lichtjahre von der Milchstraße entfernt.

Das Objekt wurde am 23. März 1827 von John Herschel entdeckt.[4]
