Dies ist eine Liste der erhaltenen Dampflokomotiven auf dem Gebiet von Kenia.

Seit 1896 wurden Eisenbahnen am Gebiet des heutigen Kenia in Meterspur gebaut. Alle erhaltenen Dampflokomotiven stammen aus dieser Ära. Seit 2017 existiert in Kenia ein Normalspurnetz. Für dieses Netz wurden bisher ausschließlich Diesellokomotiven beschafft.

Nairobi has a small railway museum at the north-west end of Nairobi station and can be seen from the Uhuru Highway where it crosses the main line. The museum was established in 1971 by the then East African Railways and Harbours Corporation to preserve and display relics and records of the railways of East Africa from their inception to the present day. In addition to the collection of steam locomotives and rolling stock, there is also a large display of railway coaches and models.At the far end of the Museum is a connection to Nairobi train station. This rail link allows restored locos access to the main line for working steam excursions. (Oct/ Nov 2010)

301 is a 4-8-0 built by Beyer Peacock (same builder as the mighty Garratts) and was used on the erstwhile Tanganyika Railways. (now Tanzania Railways). Her subsequent number was EAR 2301. (Oct/ Nov 2010)

The 3020 Steam locomotive relocated to the secure Railway Workshop further to FORM's insistence. This has allowed for regular upkeep and maintenance and capped the vandalism of train parts.

Is known as Mount Shengena. The locomotives had a 4-8-2+2-8-4 wheel arrangement, weighed 252 tons, and delivered a tractive effort of 83,350 lbf (370.76 kN). They were designed to haul 1,200-ton trains on 1.5% gradients and were the mainstay of freight services on the 330-mile run from Mombasa to Nairobi until the late 1970s.
