Hier ist eine Liste der Regionen in Mauretanien.

Der Staat gliedert sich in 12 Regionen (französisch région; arabisch ولاية, DMG Wilāya) und den Hauptstadtdistrikt. Die folgende Liste gibt neben den Namen der Regionen die zugehörigen Hauptstädte in Klammern an; die Hauptstadt Nouakchott ist seit 2014 selbst in drei Regionen gegliedert.

Die Regionen untergliedern sich wiederum in Départements (arabisch مقاطعة, DMG Muqāṭaʿa). Es bestehen die folgenden 44 Départements:
