Liste der Kernkraftwerke in der Volksrepublik China

Mit Stand Februar 2024 werden in der Volksrepublik China an 15 Standorten 55 Reaktorblöcke mit einer installierten Nettoleistung von zusammen 53.202 MW betrieben; 23 weitere Blöcke an 11 Standorten mit einer installierten Nettoleistung von zusammen 23.724 MW sind im Bau. Der erste kommerziell genutzte Reaktorblock ging 1991 in Betrieb.[1]

In China wurden 2011 in Kernkraftwerken insgesamt 82,6 Mrd. kWh (Netto) erzeugt; damit hatte die Kernenergie einen Anteil von 2 Prozent an der Gesamtstromerzeugung.[2] Im Jahr 2022 wurden 417,786 Mrd. kWh erzeugt; damit betrug ihr Anteil 5 Prozent an der Gesamtstromerzeugung.[1]
