Flag of the Governor of Ohio, adopted in 1905, codified on October 3, 1945, and redefined (but not significantly modified) on September 30, 1963. Drawn according to the specifications in ORC §5.011, using a colorized reproduction of the standard 1996 Great Seal of Ohio. (Also known as the Ohio Governor's Flag and Ohio gubernatorial flag.) A physical flag made in the 1950s, before the seal and flag were fully standardized, colors the hills purple and omits the river.[1]
