This stone house, built in the 1830s, stood in the historic Peterstown district of Waterloo, Illinois. A portion of the Stone curb, still remains, including an old horse trough, cistern, and hand pump, in front of Peterstown House, which was just to the north (right) of the building in the pictureOverview of the Lunsford-Pulcher Archeological Site, a major Mississippian site presently located west of Oklahoma Hill Road on the Monroe/St. Clair county line near Columbia, Illinois, United States. One of the area's most important archaeological sites, it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Western front of the Monroe County Courthouse, located on Courthouse Square in central Waterloo, Illinois, United States. Built in 1851 and repeatedly expanded, it is part of the Waterloo Historic District, a historic district that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Buildings on the western side of Mill Street at the Franklin Street intersection in Maeystown, Illinois, United States. The nearer building is Zeitinger's Mill, built in 1859. Virtually the entire community is part of the Maeystown Historic District, a historic district that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
