Houses on Maple Avenue in the Maple Avenue Historic District in Hannibal, Missouri. The district is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Rockcliffe Mansion on the NRHP since September 18, 1980, at 1000 Bird St., Hannibal, Missouri on top of a rocky hill. The name Rockcliffe is very appropriate. Built by a lumber magnate. Sate empty for 40 + years, now a B&B in Mark Twain's hometown.

Buildings at 207-209 South Main St.
Buildings in Mark Twain Historic District . The district, which has been on the NRHP since January 4, 1978, is on Bird, Main, and Hill Sts., Hannibal, Missouri, near Samuel Clemens's boyhood home. These particular buildings are on the SE corner of Hill and Main (the "boyhood home" is slightly up Hill Street from the NW corner). From the NRHP plaques on these buildings and from other informational material posted on them, the most important of these buildings is the one on the corner (left). though it has been expanded to 3 floors and renovated, on the 2nd floor Clemens learned to set type there.

Broadway District in Hannibal, Missouri, on the NRHP since August 1, 1986. The Historic District is roughly bounded by S. Main, Broadway, and S. Third Sts. in Hannibal. These particular buildings are on the north side of Broadway, a block west of Main, near the center of the district.
Front and southern side of the Standard Printing Company, located at 201 N. Third Street (Route 79) in Hannibal, Missouri, United States. Built in 1879, it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Grant's Drug Store in the North Main Street Historic District of Hannibal, Missouri. The District has been on the NRHP since August 1, 1986. The Historical District is roughly bounded by Bird, N. Main, and Hill Sts., which apparently overlaps with the Mark Twain Historic District. Grant's is on the SE corner of Main and Hill with Samuel Clemen's (Mark Twain's) boyhood home a bit uphill of the NE corner. Clemens lived in this building (Grant's) briefly as a boy.
