Kristopher „Kris“ Neil Allen (* 21. Juni 1985 in Jacksonville, Arkansas) ist ein US-amerikanischer Singer-Songwriter. Im Jahr 2009 gewann er die achte Staffel von American Idol.

Leben

Allen wurde am 21. Juni 1985 in Jacksonville (Arkansas) geboren. Im Jahr 2007 veröffentlichte er sein erstes Album namens Brand New Shoes. Am 26. September 2008 heiratete er seine langjährige Freundin Katy O’Connell.[3] Er ist Vater eines Sohnes.

Allen sang in Louisville (Kentucky) vor. Am 19. Mai 2009 gewann er im Finale gegen Adam Lambert.
