James Kirkwood Jr.

James Kirkwood junior (* 22. August 1924 in Los Angeles; † 21. April 1989 in Manhattan, New York City) war ein US-amerikanischer Theaterautor und Dramatiker.

Leben

Seine Eltern waren James Kirkwood und Lila Lee. Ihr einziges gemeinsames Kind war James Kirkwood, Jr. Als Theaterautor war er unter anderem gemeinsam mit Nicholas Dante an dem Theaterstück A Chorus Line beteiligt.^[1] 1989 verstarb Kirkwood junior an den Folgen von AIDS in New York City. In Erinnerung an ihn stifteten Freunde von ihm den James-Kirkwood-Literatur-Preis.
