Titelverteidiger im Einzel waren Tony Roche bei den Herren sowie Ann Jones bei den Damen. Im Herrendoppel waren Clark Graebner und Dennis Ralston, im Damendoppel Margaret Smith und Judy Tegart und im Mixed Annette van Zyl und Frew McMillan die Titelverteidiger.
