Das Hyderabad Open 2005 war ein WTA-Tennisturnier in Hyderabad. Das Hartplatzturnier der Kategorie Tier IV war Teil der WTA Tour 2005 und fand vom 5. bis 12. Februar 2005 statt.
Das Endspiel im Einzel gewann Sania Mirza gegen Aljona Bondarenko mit 6:4, 5:7 und 6:3. Im Doppelfinale besiegten Yan Zi und Zheng Jie die Paarung Li Ting/Sun Tiantian mit 6:4 und 6:1.
Qualifikation
Die Qualifikation für das Hyderabad Open 2005 fand vom 5. bis 7. Februar 2005 statt. Ausgespielt wurden vier Plätze im Einzel und ein Platz im Doppel, die zur Teilnahme am Hauptfeld des Turniers berechtigten.

Besides, the blue outline of the five-petaled plum blossom is broader than the red one. Moreover, the CMYK code of the blue one and the Blue Sky & White Sun is "C100-M100-Y0-K0", and different from the Olympic rings (C100-M25-Y0-K0). Note that it's the only version recognized by IOC.
