Das Hobart International 2016 war ein Damen-Tennisturnier der WTA Tour 2016. Das Hartplatzturnier der Kategorie International fand vom 11. bis zum 17. Januar 2016 in Hobart statt, zeitgleich mit dem Apia International in Sydney.
Titelverteidigerinnen waren Heather Watson im Einzel sowie die Paarung Kiki Bertens / Johanna Larsson im Doppel.
Qualifikation
Die Qualifikation für das Hobart International 2016 fand vom 9. bis zum 11. Januar 2016 statt. Ausgespielt wurden vier Plätze für das Hauptfeld im Einzel. Dazu kamen zwei Lucky Loser.
