Titelverteidiger im Einzel waren Jan Kodeš bei den Herren sowie Evonne Goolagong bei den Damen. Im Herrendoppel waren Arthur Ashe und Marty Riessen, im Damendoppel Gail Chanfreau und Françoise Durr und im Mixed Françoise Durr und Jean-Claude Barclay die Titelverteidiger.
