Der Distrikt Gazimağusa, (türkisch Gazimağusa İlçesi; griechisch Επαρχία Γκαζιμαγούσα) ist einer der sechs Distrikte der international nicht anerkannten Türkischen Republik Nordzypern im Osten der Mittelmeerinsel Zypern. Sein Hauptort und zugleich wichtigste Hafenstadt des Nordteils der Insel ist die gleichnamige Stadt Gazimağusa (Famagusta).

Im Jahr 2011 hatte der Distrikt 69.741 Einwohner.[1]

Late 19th century "Panayia's Church", covered in a thick layer of Gothic decoration copied from the great medieval cathedrals of Famagusta and Nicosia.

The Church was converted in a mosque and is under the control of the turkish army since the turkish invasion of Cyprus in 1974 and the ethnic cleansing of the North Part of the Republic of Cyprus.
