- Time–Life Records veröffentlicht den ersten Teil der „Country USA“ Serie. Die Serie sollte schließlich 23 Jahrgänge von 1950 bis 1972 umfassen.
- Für die Fernsehserie Großstadtrevier schrieb Truck Stop das gleichnamige Titellied. Obwohl die Serie 1986 Premiere hatte, erschien das Lied erst in diesem Jahr als B-Seite der Single Tanz mit mir
