Cinais ist eine französische Gemeinde mit 386 Einwohnern (Stand: 1. Januar 2020) im Département Indre-et-Loire in der Region Centre-Val de Loire. Sie gehört zum Arrondissement Chinon und zum Kanton Chinon. Die Einwohner werden Cinaisiens genannt.
Geographie
Cinais liegt an der Vienne, die die nördliche Gemeindegrenze ist. Hier mündet auch der Nebenfluss Négron. Umgeben wird Cinais von den Nachbargemeinden Beaumont-en-Véron im Norden, Chinon im Nordosten und Osten, La Roche-Clermault im Osten und Südosten, Seuilly im Süden sowie Thizay im Westen.

Moulin cavier de la Voie (19 ème siècle).
Le moulin cavier est un moulin à vent qui comprend un corps mobile supportant les ailes et contenant un système mécanique de renvoi du mouvement. La partie mobile (la hucherolle) repose sur une maçonnerie conique. L'ensemble est construit au-dessus d'une cave (d'où le nom), à l'intérieur de laquelle se trouvent les meules. The windmill "cavier" is a windmill which comprises a movable body supporting the wings and contains a mechanical removal of the movement. The movable part (the "hucherolle") rests on a conical masonry. The assembly is built on top of a cellar (cellar = "cave", hence its name), within which there are the grinding wheels.
