Chris Raab
Christian Joseph „Chris“ Raab (* 21. Mai 1980 in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania),[1] alias Raab Himself, ist bekannt für seine Auftritte in den Videos der CKY-Serie, sowie den MTV-Serien Jackass und Viva La Bam.
Laufbahn
Raab trat regelmäßig in Viva La Bam und Jackass auf. Als Teil der ursprünglichen „CKY-Crew“ hatte Raab auch einige Auftritte in verschiedenen Filmen und Videos, welche als Vorbild für die MTV-Serie dienten.
Im Video CKY2K wird kurz „RAAB = Matt Damon's nephew“ (Raab = Matt Damons Neffe) eingeblendet, wodurch das Gerücht über ein tatsächliches Verwandtschaftsverhältnis zwischen Raab und dem Schauspieler Matt Damon entstand. Dies wurde allerdings von beiden dementiert.
Mittlerweile lebt und studiert Raab in Kalifornien, wo er auch seine Schauspiel-Karriere fördern will. Seinen Spitznamen erhielt er von seiner Lehrerin. Sie begrüßte ihn oft mit dem Satz „Well, if this isn't Raab himself“ („Na, wenn das nicht Raab höchstpersönlich ist“).
