Die China Open 2023 waren ein Tennisturnier der Damen im Rahmen der WTA Tour 2023 in Peking. Das Hartplatzturnier der Kategorie WTA 1000 fand vom 30. September bis 8. Oktober 2023 statt. Es war das erste Turnier dieser Kategorie in der Volksrepublik China nach Beginn der COVID-19-Pandemie und dem China-Boykott der WTA nach der Kontroverse um Peng Shuai.
Titelverteidigerinnen waren im Einzel Naomi Ōsaka und im Doppel die Paarung Sofia Kenin / Bethanie Mattek-Sands.
Qualifikation
Die Qualifikation für die China Open 2023 fand vom 29. bis 30. September 2023 statt. Ausgespielt wurden acht Plätze für das Hauptfeld im Einzel.
