Alişer
Alişer (* 1882 in İmranlı, Sivas; † 9. Juli 1937 in Ovacık, Tunceli) war ein kurdischer Nationalist, Dichter[1] und Mitgründer der pro-kurdischen Partei Kürdistan Teali Cemiyeti.
Alişer gilt als Anführer des Koçgiri-Aufstandes[2][3] im Jahre 1920 vor der Gründung der Türkischen Republik.
In den nachfolgenden Jahren unterstützte er Seyit Rıza, den Anführer des Dersim-Aufstandes 1937/38, und führte den Aufstand mit an.[1][4] Während des Aufstandes wurde er mit seiner Frau am 9. Juli 1937[1] von Leuten, die sich als Unterstützer der Rebellion ausgaben, in einen Hinterhalt gelockt und getötet.[5]

Alîşêr Efendi was born in 1882 in the village of İmranlı Atlıca in Sivas. Alişer and Zarife both come from the Iban branch of the Koçgiri tribe. After completing his education in Sivas, he worked as an employee of Mustafa Pasha, the head of the Koçgiri tribe and ruler of the Koçgiri Principality. He was fluent in Kurdish, Turkish, Persian, Arabic and Russian. He is known for his poems that interpret the Kuran according to Alevi teachings. He is a member of the "Greater Kurdistan Society" and raises national awareness of Kurdistan in the region. After the Koçgiri incident in 1921, he fled to Seyid Rıza in Dersim and was betrayed and murdered by Seyid Rıza's family, with whom he sought refuge in 1937.
