Der Afrika-Cup 1957 (engl.: African Cup of Nations, franz.: Coupe d'Afrique des Nations) war die erste Ausspielung der afrikanischen Kontinentalmeisterschaft im Fußball und fand vom 10. bis zum 16. Februar im Sudan statt. Organisiert vom afrikanischen Fußball-Kontinentalverband Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) nahmen lediglich drei Mannschaften Ägypten, Äthiopien und Sudan teil. Das ursprünglich noch gemeldete Südafrika wurde auf Grund der Weigerung, mit einer multiethnischen Mannschaft anzutreten, vom Turnier ausgeschlossen, so dass nur zwei Spiele stattfanden.
Beide Spiele wurden im Stade Municipal der sudanesischen Hauptstadt Khartum ausgetragen.
Ägypten gewann das Turnier und wurde erster Fußball-Afrikameister der Geschichte.
