Chor (Architektur)In der sakralen Architektur bezeichnet der Chor, auch Chorraum, Presbyterium oder Altarraum genannt, jenen Platz in Kirchen, der den Hauptaltar umgibt und der früher dem Klerus oder den Ordensgemeinschaften zur Feier des Stundengebets vorbehalten war.
