Copy negative created from material loaned to the museum. Image depicts: Overhead aerial reconnaissance view of the breached Moehne Dam, taken by a Supermarine Spitfire of No.541 Squadron Royal Air Force. Note the much reduced outflow from the breach, and the low level of the lake, indicating that the photograph was taken later on 17th, or possibly 18 May 1943.
