Crawford Williamson Long war ein US-amerikanischer Chirurg und praktischer Allgemeinarzt. Er führte am 30. März 1842 die erste chirurgische Operation durch, bei der das Schmerzempfinden des Patienten durch eine Diethylether-Narkose („Äthernarkose“) beeinflusst wurde.
