Crown and Greyhound, Dulwich Village, SE21 (2289084554)
A nice-looking well-attended pub with a large garden out the back as well as seating in front. It replaced two separate 19th Century pubs, whose names you can probably guess (The Crown was on this site, while The Greyhound was across the road a bit to the south). (Photo of menu page 1 and page 2, Jun 2010.) (Photos of caesar salad, steak & ale pie and sharing plate.)
Address: 73 Dulwich Village (formerly High Street). Former Name(s): The Crown. Owner: Mitchells and Butlers [Metro Professionals] (website); Taylor Walker (former). Links: Randomness Guide to London Fancyapint Beer in the Evening Qype Dead Pubs (history)
