Cks reassembled
The original statue of Chiang Kai-shek was created by Mu-Chuan Lin in 1981 for display in the Kaoshiung Cultural Center. In March 2007 it has been dismantled by the Bureau of Cultural Affairs of the Kaoshiung City Government. In the process, some parts disappeared. The remaining pieces then were moved to the Cihu Memorial Sculpture Park in Dasi. It was decided not to reconstruct the sculpture. Instead, the remaining parts where assembled as shown in this picture as a "post-modern representation" as well as a "representation without ideology".
